Anyone who sees me on a daily basis will tell you that I always have a Habitat-branded item with me. Whether it's my keychain, my favorite leather messenger bag or one of my blue zippered jackets, I'm always in my Habitat gear. It's because I have a heart for this ministry. People see the logo and tell me about their Habitat build experience, ask questions about volunteering or inquire about how they can become a homeowner. These branded items are not only great conversation starters, but they also support the mission. I've decided to offer a Habitat-branded item to my supporters who give a donation of $50 or $75 to help build a Habitat home for a family in need. Even better, for those who give $100 or more, you will receive one of my favorite Christmas stories of all time. It's the "Carpenter's Gift" and it tells an amazing story about the famed Rockefeller Christmas Tree and how it is milled into lumber that is used to build a Habitat home in the United States.
