My colleague and friend, award-winning photographer and videographer, Ezra Millstein, recently led a Global Village trip to Udon Thani, Thailand. He shared some of his amazing photographs on the Habitat for Humanity International blog this week. In case you are planning to take photos during our GV trip, here are some great examples of eye-catching shots. Click here to view the slideshow. I have also featured Ezra's dynamic video "A Global Village" on my homepage. Follow Ezra on Twitter at @ezramillstein.
I work with some amazingly-talented people at Habitat for Humanity International, but I'm always excited to see when our award-winning photographer Ezra Millstein has returned from an assignment with photos or video. Ezra has an incredible ability to capture compelling images to tell the story of Habitat, its partner families and volunteers. Occasionally he puts his camera aside to shoot and produce captivating videos. I watched A Global Village for the first time this week after hearing about it from his manager. It was enthralling to see him take two different families, one from Boston and one from India, and bring them together to show how alike they really are. If you've every experienced a Global Village trip, you know how accurate this depiction is. I was so very moved and inspired by his adaption. This video makes me even more excited about connecting with the families we will work alongside in Cochabamba, Bolivia in June 2014.
